Vintage Hermes LA CLE DES CHAMPS ("The key to the countryside" - it is actually an old French expression or metaphor for "freedom", "liberty", or "to escape"), by Francoise Faconnet - first issued in 1965. 100% Jacquard Silk. Beautiful colorway ofwhite, black and yellow with flying little birds design. The scarf is printed on a lush jacquard silk fabric with a swirl pattern. Hermes discontinued production using this woven silk fabric in the 1990s, because the production of this scarf was too expensive. 'HERMES - Paris' is located right lower quadrant.
