Stunning Hermes 'NAPOLEON' silk scarf designed by Philippe Ledoux and originally issued in 1963. At the centre, there is a depiction of the arrival at the coronation ceremony in Notre-Dame on 2 December, 1804 (taken from an engraving in the Livre du Sacre). 100% Jacquard Silk. Hermes discontinued production using this woven silk fabric in the 1990s, because the production of this scarf was too expensive. Hand rolled edges. The 'HERMES - Paris' ls located in the bottom center, composition tag still attached , HERMEs with copyright symbol is located in the left bottom quadrant
